Adi Mcnally ov The Unthanks is now 40 years of age. Adi was a good friend of mine growing up in a small pit village near Barnsley, South Yorkshire and introduced me to the fresh sounds of Then Jericho, It Bites and Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
In terms of friendship I've not seen enough of the lad over the past few years but from looking on Redtube and Facesnatch it looks like he's doing really well and I do hope to catch up with him soon at the wacky warehouse just off the A61 in Wombwell.
In the meantime there's not many people I'd feel inclined to wax lyrical about but Adrian is up there with the very best and I wish him a happy birthday the old twat.
